This is Anthony checking in. Everyone has been telling me I have to do this blog thing, so I'm finally getting on it with 3 shows left. Last night was a kool show at Livin' Lattes in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina. All the bands were effin awesome and we had an illin time rockin out. We got to the show about 5 hours early so we decided to go for a little hike. Well, Nate and I decided... Mike really wasn't too fond of the idea. Turns out the hike wasn't really much of a hike at all and we drove our oddly shaped van all the way up the 2,500 foot mountain. Obviously when we got to the top we took some pictures and Mike hurt himself. Then on the way down Nate had a great idea. He climbed a tree and acted like a perverted pigeon. This caused numerous people to look around to see where these strange sounds he was creating, were coming from.
Soon we all hopped back into the van and made our way to the local pool. This was by far the koolest pool that we had gone to. Nicky and I didn't go in but the pool had a swing rope, water slide, and diving board! how awesome is that? .. very awesome. Me and Nicky played some pool and laid back in the sun... you know how us G's do it. Bo Bo Bo!
Well that's all that really happened yesterday. Steve just farted in the room I am typing this in and destroyed the atmosphere. We are planning on going wake boarding today before our acoustic show in Clarion, PA. (Natey-boy's home town). I really can't wait to see Dob try it cause he's the MAN!
uhmmmm... Everyone leave some comments! especially on my post because I am the koolest ;)
Even if your comment isn't going to be regarding my level of koolness, just leave some love and let us know what you want to hear.
Peace out cub scout, After-a-while Crocodile, See you around... like a donut, Take care and comb your hair.
that's all from me in Pennsylvania

You're the only Ten I See
So were sitting in Starbucks in Knoxville, TN nursing our coffee so we can use the free internet and sit on comfy couches in the air conditioning. Friday we played in Jacksonville and it was by far the coolest venue we have been to. We also met these two old people who loveddd us and begged Steve for a drumstick. One of them was also my partner in beer pong. Friday night, well lets just leave it at that we were all a little scared and woke up smelling like cats and cigarettes....grose. Saturday we played in Dalton, GA with a couple of good bands, one of whiched managed to put us on a show in Tennesse today. There name is Without Hatred so maybe go thank them for helping us out. We also met some really cool friends who gave us a place to swim and a place to sleep. We have been getting super lucky with getting places to sleep, swim, and clean our dirty bodies. I hope we can keep the steak going. We have been playing so much lately and it feels so cool. I am going to miss being able to play every night because we all have so much fun on stage together. We have about 5 more shows before we come home!...well then we have one in Connecticut but its not that far. We miss everyone and cant wait to se you on the 28th at the Vibe!!!

We finally have time to update this
we are all sitting in a coffee shop in jacksonville, florida eating muffins, cake and sippin down java chip fraps. we have time now to give you an update. we've played a bunch of shows, met some eccentric people and had a pool party with about 20 8-year-olds. we've been fortunate to find people who are willing to let us stay at their houses. so far, we have slept in the van only 3 times. with mikes constant snoring, hard van floors and humid heat, we would never take a bed or air conditioning for granted ever again. we have parted ways with our good friends, My Friend The Ghost, in which we have awesome memories and it was always a pleasure sharing the stage with them. as for the rest of the tour, we are finally making our way back home. we've been hitting up all the pools and beaches in flordia for the past 5 days. we have felt awkward every time we go to the beach because we are not always around showers and we take full advantage of that by breakin out the shampoo and conditioner and lathering ourselves up while people stare. but hey, its like a sexy carwash...just at the beach though...and without cars.
Conditions of the Tour: (updates on each member)
Mike ripped open his big toe from falling over the merch bin....he is still a tree
Dob is shedding skin like a snake
Nicky's fro is still in its upright position
Anthony's face is covered in hair and NEEDS to shave...badly
Nate has a bed in the van JUST for him
Steve's phone has been broken for 3 days but is now fully functional...he also needs to shave as well
well, nicky and anthony are playing a game of jumbo checkers and they are terrible! showtime is in less than 3 hours away. wish us luck and if you have anything youd like to say, feel free!
we love you all and hope you can keep in touch with us while we are away....so comment if youd wish!

Nicky C's Corner
What up ya'll?
tC day 5!!! we're hangin' out right now in the backyard of our friend Caitlin's house along with her cool brother and family. She has a pretty sweet pool. We were playin marco polo and messin around.
Last night's show in north carolina was awesome! We played on a nice big stage and met a lot of cool new people. We also ate at this place called the cookout after the show which was great. Food is so much better and cheaper here. after that we began our 4 hour drive to south carolina!
We're playing tonight at a bar in South carolina which should be fun as usual. we're playing again with our good new friends, My Friend the Ghost. We had a lot of fun after the show skatin around on our skateboards and tossin' the football around (which almost hit me directly in the face :0 ) It's hot out. Nice, but hot.
Well, thats about enough for now. we're gonna go play some wii before the show. shout out to all my homies back in NHP. catch ya later

Oh my sun, Sonic and YMCA swimming pools...
We ate at Sonic. Sonic. SoNiC. Twice. Go eat your jealousy candy bar and lick an envy lollipop. Yeah.
Right now I am in the Luna Bean wit Nicky f*cking C. It's quiet. Nicky says, "We're like the last two in the bean," and he's right. Anyway, we're in Wilson, NC and we had a pretty entertaining last couple of days. Last night we played to a rowdy crowd in Virginia and got so many hugs it made our hug valves blow. That was fun. We also got stuck in a tornado and an electrical storm. The sky was like a gobstopper mixed with a llama, it changed colors like every 10 seconds and spit on us.
The Bean show tonight was fun, too. Wilson locals are prolly the illest kids ever. Y'all have no idea.
Um.
I'm distracted. We'll get more details soon.
Love,
Nathan and Nicky

MIA!
Hey guys, well...we played our first show on the Cup-Your-Cake tour at Tuesday Tunes in Shaaaaaaaaamokin, PA. We had a ton of fun, met awesome new people and ate the best chili dogs ever. After the show, we drove to VA to stay with our awesome life companion and Cupcakes for a Cause leader, Mia. She made us feel right at home. This morning, she had a cupcake breakfast waiting for us. She is as sweet, if not sweeter, than the cupcakes she made. On a side note, I dont know how people stay sane on tour considering the amount of snoring that went on last night. We are off to our next show in Fredricksberg, VA. If you guys have any friends that live in that area, ask them to stop on by and hang out with us. Other than that, we are out. We will see you soon!!!!

Kick-off show and prep.
So, last Thursday was the local kick-off show at Vibe Lounge in Rockville Centre. It was a good time to see everyone there and to share the stage with The Morning Light, who at lease three people in this band enjore (enjoy+adore).
It is Monday and we are busy making the final preparation schtuff before we hit the road. We spent the last couple days yeelling at ech other to do things that we were all already doing. (This Condition has communication issues on occasion.) Anthony has been kicking the shit out of our super-sweet van (pictures to come) and making it livable. I think he feels underappreciated, so cend him a comment saying how nice his eyes are or how cool his name is or something. The rest of us have been working on stuff too, but its boring, so, I'm leaving it out.
Ok. So. Hit us up here with comments and it will be fun. Word.
Oh, I promise I won't write every post. That could get annoying.

Post Uno
Hi! This is the first post of the Cup Your Cake Tour Blog. So, I will take this time to introduce, explain, divulge some information about who we are and what we do.
We are This Condition (www.myspace.com/thiscondition), a band from Long Island, NY. We make pop/rock/punk/emo/death metal sounds. Chances are if you are here on this page you already knew that. But, hey, you never know what the cat, or should I say, the cat's ass, might drag in. Oh, I guess I should inform you, as it may become relevant in future posts, the term "cat's ass" is used to describe something (anything) that is beyond the limits of cool or awesome. If you would like the history or more information on the phrase you should speak to Gary Giambalvo (Anthony's Dad) because we actually have no idea where it came from or why it means what it means (if it even actually means that).
So, whose int he band? Well, let me tell you.
There's Anthony. He plays lead parts on an orange guitar. He has the most tattoos in the band and the longest hair. His mother, Connie, is the real reason we keep him in the band. She makes delicious quiche and cake (of the cupped and un-cupped variety).
Then there is Stephen. He is the second most tattooed person in the band. He hugs a lot and is a heavy drinker of Arizona Iced Tea. He plays drums pretty decently. Oh, and he sings some back up vocals which is, um, pretty, uh, cool.
Nicky C! He has the coolest hair in the band. Some people call him "Curly," although, he doesn't prefer it and will prolly be annoyed that I put that in here. He plays bass and his rig is annoyingly large and heavy.
Michael, sir, Michael. Mikey plays the other electric six string in the band. Mike is the tallest, most skyscraper-ish member of the band. We had to buy a van with a custom 8 ft ceiling so he could stand up in it. He has a new amp that he thinks is the cat's ass.
And I am Nate. I sing and use the "I'm the singer" excuse for everything I don't want to do.
Ok, so, that's us and this our tour blog. This is the Cup Your Cake Tour--a dedication and celebration of the mastery, beauty and brilliance of music and man's greatest creation, the cupcake. Check the dates and we hope to see you, or have seen you on our journey by the time it ends, tragically, or not, on June 28!
